I still do some tillage, not sure why everyone seems to think cover crops and notill have to go together.
tillage exposes the soil to erosion and really negates the benefits from covers. its a stepping stone process, once a guy gets more comfortable and more time with covers it wont be long and the no till just goes good with it.
