Chilliwack BC Canada | We plant winterwheat, triticale, ryegrass blend after corn silage is harvested. ( in local lingo we call it covercrop but it's probably better described as winter forage). Harvest before going back to corn silage. Lots of manure, moldboard plow before corn planting. Main reasons are for more tonnage per acre and allowing for more manure per acre. Located in the Fraser Valley in the southwest corner of BC.
