Deep southern Illinois | I’ve gotten Dekalb glassware that gets used daily, Dekalb neon sign that hangs in the man cave at dads and usually gets turned on nightly lol. Never can keep track of a seed digger from year to year. A grain marketing guy that a friend deals with handed him a box of at least 20 of the nice pulling pins with his company info on them, and told him to give them to his friends/leave on shop bench. Never dealt with the guy, but a bunch of us ended up with 1 or 2 of them. Got the word out. I always tell companies wanting my business, their best shot at getting a trial in is to go driving around with about 8 bags of their best hybrid in the middle of planting season. Look for someone filling up alongside the road you’ve never seen, and give him 1-2 depending on planter size for a side by side study. I don’t care who you are, I’d be glad to try 1 bag if it’s that convenient. You can even put a sign up. That’s incredible advertising in my book. | |
