Seed talc, chain lube, nice dust masks, pair of gloves, ear plugs, and seed depth gauge. Just small things a guy forgets in the heat of the moment that make the planting rush go a little better. I’m not saying all of those things for one guy, just let him pick one or two things from a box or something?
A relative once got on me for giving someone a gift certificate to Rural King. She said "we always expense everything we buy there. Why give him a gift certificate?"
In other words...give a gift they normally won't buy for themselves. Tax deductions are the game most farmers usually play. |
