That is true. I was checking on train tickets from Greenwood to New Orleans yesterday and they had a disclaimer on there that the tracks were flooded in places so they were using buses to get people around the flooded area. All the rivers, creeks, bayous, and sloughs in this area are either bank full or overflowed. Friend has the Sunflower river in his back yard. He isn't flooded yet but it is close. My mother lives "up in the hills" in NE MS and a few times she has been concerned about the county roads flooding in the bottoms.
