half way from STL and Springfield, IL | If they are solid investments leave them alone. I started in the late 1980s. invested about 20000. added less than 15000 more since then. Watched the account do little of nothing it seemed for several years. It got to 70000, dropped in half. got to 140,000, dropped to 100,000. now it is at $160,000. so in a little over 30 years it went from an investment of $35,000 to over $160,000. It is in a Roth so it is tax free. Wish I would have started ten years earlier and the growth would have been much greater do to time value of money. Invest wisely and let it ride and the odds are in your favor. Advise is worth what you paid for it. |
