West Central Iowa | It usually goes down right before tassel, just like 30 " corn. Fungicide doesn't help that much @ this time it's not even applied that early. This is my 10 th year with 20's. Fungicide helps more with late season health. 20 inch rows are more likely to respond to fungicide, but it's just a factor, like corn on corn, susceptible hybrid, etc. Environment is still the biggest factor that will determine if you get a response or not, some years with dry air there's zero response to fungicide. | |
