Amherst WI | I had something like this similar happen to me.
Farm was in a trust, grandma decided each grand kid would get 40 acres. I had one more year on the written lease. Son called me in mid March to tell me the kids wanted to farm it. I just backed away from it. It wasn't bad ground but wasn't great either. A year later the kids rented out to someone paying 2x what I was at that time. I don't hold it against them but it was kind of irritating since they did this so late, but they were always like nailing jello to a tree anyway. | |
