Subject: RE: Why do hunters feel entilted to land?

Southern IL
I always get a kick out of how many friends a person starts to get as hunting season gets closer. I have a good friend and cousin who always offer to help me anytime i need it. Sometimes its as simple as a ride to a different field to move equipment around. But its simple things that help me out alot, and in turn they get to hunt. Dont mean to sound selfish, but why should my family and I work our butt off all year long to make payments and pay taxes, and not get to hunt as much as i would like to, and let everyone else have a good time, then when seasons over never show up again until Oct 1st. Just burns my butt. Had one guy want to hunt, but if i asked for help with a simple job he was like....well thats my only day off, johhny has a ballgame that day, we are going on vacation that week, blah blah blah. I dont ask for much, because i hate asking for help, but if you cant help me 10 hours a year, sorry go somewhere else.
