NW KS/ SC ID | A tractor suited for both cattle work and field work will do neither well IMO.
Find a cheap, small nimble tractor that can move bales around well, and put money in the bank for a field tractor if you get to that point.
Take it from someone who is just starting out and is quickly getting an education on spending too much on iron and not enough on land, the equipment is fun for a short while, the land is what lasts.
