Eastern Nebraska | Not to rain on your parade but unless some one gave you that 80 and house you better rethink what you really need or you will be broke before you know it. I started out with a 80 and house that needed work and a job in town no money help from any one. Farmed for a few years with a G JD and then bought a 3010 JD that needed a motor fixed it one winter. That 3010 became my loader tractor later I added a cab for winter I cut hay and raked with it for years. I bought a 4020 that needed trans and rear end work and fixed it one winter. I worked hay with a neighbor for years I cut and raked and he baled it saved me a lot of money on equipment. I have always bought land and not equipment. Its only been in the last 10 years I have had a MFWD tractor for a loader yes I love it but I have been at this for 35 years and my ground is paid for. I still don't have a MFWD for my field tractor. Just be careful with you purchases and have others have said there are other colors than green. | |
