...Yeah, I just use a 1/2 cup of Quick Oats, (In the tall round box)..and a cup and a quarter of milk...salt, and bring it to boil in the microwave in a Pyrex quart measure. You have to watch it so it doesn't boil over. When you get it to boil...you pull it out...add a handful of raisins, 10 walnut halves, a shake of cinnamon, and brown sugar to taste. You can use all kinds of sugars...from maple syrup to molasses. Then I put it back in the microwave and bring it to a boil twice more with a stir in between. I don't pour it out of the quart measure...I just eat it right out of the Pyrex....saves another dish!
