| Craziest thing ever. I could not get it to fail for the longest time either with the back just loosely installed (without screws) or the back removed. I even got brave enough to update the firmware while it was taken apart. So I decided to put it all the way back together again. Booted it up after putting it together and it didn’t even boot up all the way. I heard some sort of noise, almost like static through the speaker on the back (wish I would have had my ear close to the speaker at that moment) and it shut down. Pushed the power button again and it went into service mode and scanned everything, passing all of the tests, then said the error was a forced shutdown.
I shut it back down and started back up and it booted this time but only lasted about 30 seconds before it performed an orderly shutdown without me asking it to.
There has got to be something making contact somewhere but I cannot for the life of me find it.. | |
