sorry I’m so late coming to this post.

I had similar circumstances this spring after I installed a new touch screen.

The key here, I believe is “application can not be found.” Mine did the same thing.

My logic says that message is telling me that the “hard drive” is not being read.

My belief is the card on the board with the sticker that says, “warranty void if seal is broken” is the hard drive.

No warranty left here,,, so I removed the screw, removed the card from the socket and reseated it.
Never had any more trouble after that.
