I used McAfee for several years, liked it and got along well until I switched to Embarq's high speed system. Lot's of small problems started showing up, especially hibernation issues as well as the occasional random lockups. I'm on AVG now and all is well again. There must have been some compatibility problems with Embarq's firewalls.
