I started implementing that plan at the beginning of 2018. I still think final corn yield comes in around 174 and no idea on the beans. I actually find it amazing the usda doesn't do anything with corn yield on the july report because not enough is known yet but they still adjust bean yield on the august report.
To get actual ear weights to the 174 level you would need them to fall to .345. Not sure with the weather since the survey (2 weeks ago) that’s in the cards. Personally I think the risk is weights move to the 2016 level and we go to 180.5. |
