West Central Indiana | I used to travel that stretch of highway a lot when I was going to Purdue, there was always tractor traffic. The negligence of many motorists is getting a little excessive. I was reading the comments on the article last night and there were an alarming number of people that were stating the farmer was in the wrong and should have been "aware" of his surroundings and yielded to the truck, really?? I knew there were quite a few ignorant people in this world, but I didn't realize there were THAT many!
I wish the best for the farmer and his family and I hope that the truck driver gets the punishment that he deserves. This was not an "accident" this was pure negligence by the truck driver, period. Scares the $hit out of me to get on the road anymore with equipment, regardless of how many flashers and SMV's I have. | |
