I know I have no right to make judgements from half a continent away, but, When the world is supposedly awash in grains, especially wheat, why does it make sense to be sacrificing soil in semi arid locations such as this to grow more wheat that the world supposedly doesn't want?  Can't have those scenes occurring even intermittently for very many decades before there is no soil left to even convert to more sustainable uses.  Blast away, I may be completely wrong on this, having very little knowledge about winter wheat, that area, or the soils.

That's not so bad, you should see it when the black soil of Iowa blows.

It's called snirt.

Maybe your soil doesn't erode.
