That looks miserable. I could barely find the cows in picture four, and wouldn't have noticed them without your mention.

Is your soil just a powder? Ours doesn't blow like that and if is a silty-clay loam for the most part. It's pretty fine and I have always been told it is a loess derived soil; ie it blew here. I had one agronomy class in college though and don't remember much, lol.

We are in a wind advisory right now and it is blowing 30 with gusts over 40. About 3" of moisture since October and constant drought condition since June. Here is the scene with a little bit of snowmelt:
