I would not bring outside cattle to fescue. I have had better luck keeping fescue pastures over stocked and grazed short, rotate cows in a circle with three or four pastures. This time off allows clover to compete with fescue. If you are going to hay any fescue, take a week or two off from planting beans middle of May and get the hay put up early.
