Can you not put another Deere autosteer switch in one of the knock outs? I know any switch will work but I kinda like having it look factory set.

Not just any switch, it must be a momentary type

Certain Deere auto steer switches are much more complicated and expensive than what is needed. I had a Deere Auto steer switch go out on my 8310R. It was very expensive. Fortunately it was still under warranty so I didn't have to pay for it. I suspect it got a bath of Mountain Dew when it was out on lease to the local vegetable processor before I took ownership.

That switch had several terminals but by using the correct pair, it would probably work fine for the Trimble.
