I don't grow it but have noticed almost everyone has gone the turbo-till rout and now run larger planters, (12 row). Others use a KMC or Unverferth rip-strip planter combo with deep shanks and run about 16-18 inches deep. There are some still bedding but not to many anymore. The guys that moved to larger planters do it in separate passes because their tractors aren't big enough to run a 12 row set up.
