What about front to back then? When the Ag Leader asks for the receiver to implement offset distance, should we actually use the receiver's location or the Nav's location? I am sure I can disregard the pitch of the tractor as this would be negligible.
Good question. You want to use the corrected position of the receiver, which on a T8 is centered (left to right) over the centerline (front to back) of the rear axle. So measure from the centerline of the rear axle back to your seed tube, and you should have a good implement offset. |
