Why do you need assistance of a "professional?"  

Professional what?   

The math isn't that difficult.
 

There are several very user-friendly software choices on the market, and the fact that this discussion is taking place via computers implies that the participants have at least a basic level of computer operation skills.

The agronomy is no different then non-VRT, there's just more of it to do.  

The mechanics are pretty simple.

Operating the machinery shouldn't be beyond anyone in this business. 

What's the "professional" going to do?  

BTW, I'd hope most farmers are already "crop professionals."  I certainly know that I do not frequently find myself standing in awe of anyone with massively superior knowledge of crop production.
