Mountain West | I've only looked at a few Nebraska tests, but I've never seen Deere beat anyone on fuel economy. I've heard Deere engines have their ignition incident at a lower temperature than other engines, so they are kind of behind from the get go.
I recall in the mid "70's we had local farmers supplying tractors to pump water for an irrigation canal. The 30 series Deere one guy brought seemed to use almost twice the fuel of the other brands. | |
