| It's up to us to determine what we should use and how we should use it - right? Maybe it's time to examine the plusses and the minuses of having the government involved in ag economics. After many years of watching, my conclusion remains the same - anytime government gets involved in economics, they **** it up. Now that it looks like the thirty year high is behind us, it sure looks like subsidized crop insurance will benefit many of our suppliers but be a real negative for us by not letting the market do what it needs to do. | |
