Leesburg, Ohio | hwd: Our EZsteer is only on WAAS. Wish I had thought about it before the field day...would have been interesting to hook up a 5100 receiver.
My comparison of accuracy (which is rather subjective...I did not measure) was referring to WAAS. We definately have to use the "nudge" arrows more with the EZsteer, which tells me that there is more drift with it than with the Outback. When I was planting corn with the EZ, I was able to get what I considered to be very acceptable accuracy, but just had to nudge it fairly often. I don't think this level of accuracy will work on strip till.
I think with the Baseline unit on the Outback, that the Outback will be more accurate hands down, and should be repeatable, if I understand correctly. I think strip till should work well with the Baseline.
Hope this helps.
