The Baseline works similar to RTK in that it uses a local base to get its ground reference from. The diference, as I understand it with my limited knowlege, is that in RTK the base communicates to the rover and the rover communicates back. In the Baseline the base only communicates to the rover and there is where the less accuracy comes in - it is not as sophisticated system. The question is not "is it the best?" but "is it good enough for your needs?". I can't answer that. I know Trevor comented when using it (I never ran it) that signal aquisition time was really quick and it worked well.
