North Central Kansas | My guess is this thing took off with a full load of fuel. It flew for seven hours after the last transponder ping. They know that from the Rolls Royce engines. Do some math on where that would put. Somalia is 3800 miles from Malaysia. If it flew somewhere to be retrofitted by terrorists it had to go somewhere that did not monitor air space. That rules out the North and West. I am pretty sure Pakistan and Afghanistan (US military) monitor their airspace. As does India. Africa is the logical choice. It will definitely go down as one of the strangest events in history.
Might be a good time to buy some Qualcomm stock. I think every plane needs a Qualcomm system just like our major fleet trucks. Real time data. Why do we need to scour the oceans or accident scenes for a black box. Real time cameras from the cockpit and cabin. How many semi trucks with Qualcomm systems are there in the US? I bet there are more semi's than air planes.
