Subject: Re: How to heat the second story of an old farmhouse??

Crawford County, Ohio
I grew up in a house like that. Had a thermometer in my room that read 42 deg one morning. I had an electric blanket and a few more blankets over that. In the morning you pile out and get dressed fast. I survived it. I live in the same house today and my kids do and will survive it. I now sleep in the master bedroom downstairs but have the heat registers shut down and often have the window cracked. I prefer to sleep in a cool to cold room to this day.

Human beings have not changed over the past generations enough that we cannot deal with what they did. Things like this build character in a person.
