This 18 year old roan that I sold never had a heifer calf. Can you believe that? That is one reason I kept on keeping her thinking well next time she will have a heifer but no. I will never have another cow like her. I never gave her any antibiotics for anything ever. No foot rot, eye problems sickness, bred fast, milked great and had the biggest calves most of the time until she got old. I always wondered what a bull would have done out of her. She was smart too and would always be the first one through the chute when working them.
