Too close to Raleigh, NC | Welcome to the WalMart Economy - everything is so cheap you just throw it out when it breaks (not if it breaks). It still makes no sense to me that so much stuff can be made in China (Taiwan, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, etc.) and floated over here, warehoused, and distributed, and they still can sell it so cheap. Kinda makes you think about how cheaply it is made if they sell it for so little. And yes, cars are headed that way. Heck, electronics have been that way for years. I reckon we ought to get used to it. But if my wife points to one more thing in a catalog that comes in a box that says made in China....................... | |
