Subject: RE: New to the Precision Technology.

North west MN
I have trimble autopilots on a 4640 and a 4840 John Deere they are both 2 wheel drive and they work just fine. I use RTK corection so I can plant Beets in 22 inch rows and Harvest using the same ab line without any nudging. I don't know were they get the idea that it has to be 4wd. When trimble first did testing on the 4000 JD's it was done on the 2wd and there is no difference in the kit between the 4wd and the 2wd.
