About Equipaments, please see this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQ-xXDjND04
Shows some equipaments in a farm show(last month)

Bookmark asks about wheat:
Here noone plants wheat.
But in the south of this state and in the south of Brazil farmers do
Last years some farmers here go on cotton(safrinha cotton or cotton after soybeans)
The most plant the safrinha corn
Some in the end use safrinha milo(better in dry conditions)(but the birds sometimes has a big problem)
If dont plant safrinha corn or other crop, normally plants cover crops.
Gerenally we use: Brachiaria for sandy soils ( http://www.tropicalforages.info/key/Forages/Media/Html/images/Brach... ) (In USA maybel called ryegrass)
Crotalaria spectabilis for clay soils and Nematode problens(very good cover crop for corn planting) ( http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_74IjFxGtYso/S-XfZd-7BSI/AAAAAAAAApU/Pjr1I... )
Crotalaria is a king here if have nematodes problems.

A little people here use "Raphanus sativus" http://www.viarural.com.ar/viarural.com.ar/agricultura/aa-malezas/r...
A few years ago some farmes use the Pennisetum glaucum (Pearl Milhet)

I started this year with CORN plus Cover crop.
In south most do this!
Some spread the cover crop BEFORE harvest soybeans(spray aircraft adapted to spread seeds)
Some plants corn togheter the cover crop in one operation.

After harvesting the corn the cover crop still growns and are good for next culture:
http://www.infobibos.com/Artigos/2010_1/consorcio/cons%C3%B3rcio%20...
Gererally losts 3-4 bushels
But soybeans after gains 3-5 bushels :) If have dry wheather, the gain is MORE.

Gererally corn dont are my first culture . I plant Soybeans and after the "safrinha corn"
But I will planting next year.
But one neigbord every year take 20-25% of landind to corn(crop rotation)
180 bushels last year, 197 two years ago and maybe 180 again this year(the corn are planted after all soybean, generally in november).
The top in the city reaches 200-210 bushels
altitudes above sea(elevation): 1800-2400 ft
Management for corn?
Dry fertilizer(we call "starter fertilizer"): Half spread before plantig half in the planter.
8.24.12, about 340 pounds / acre ( Some uses 10 20 10, 10 15 15)
00.00.60(Potassium), about 200 pouns / acre
Urea, about 250 pounds, splited in two applications.
Some micros and foliar ferlilizing(N and K)
2 or 3 fungicide applications
noone use liquid N here
25-32k seeds / acre
we inoculated the corn using azospirillum braziliensis, costs about 1 bushel and returns 3 to 4 bushels.
Some spread urea right before rain, some side dressing(dry urea)

Some locations in south of brazil scores 220-250 bushels
The Top Yeald soybeans are planted in last 10 days of october, and top yealds corn are planted in 10-20 november.

I forget about the gypsum,
normally we spread 400 pounds / acre every year. Is the more profitable response.
Some farms experiencing problems if use more than this rating(K and Mg deficiency) But I really dont have good Knowledge about this.

iseedit, Dont :/ Hope this year I will go. Probably join the Deere group(every year the deere dealers group some farmers and travel to USA)
