When you say k strips Ed how deep you talking? Not set up to apply deeper than 3.5" with 1890 drill at 10" spacing
Negative on the tissue testing. Beans and wheat only thing I have grown for a while on the field. Plan on going to corn this year. Beans there have never been barn burners wen they should because it drains well and the low area even has tile through it. It's an interesting farm that use to have an old farmstead in corner. I cleaned it up and broke up the grass about 5 years ago. It looks like we double anhydrous that area every year it's in wheat or beans. Usually lodges and is very big. It's only about 2 acres that spot. Wish whole farm was like it because the organic matter must be over 5??? Who knows rest farm 2.5-3.2 I bet given the way it seems to breakdown residue and make nutrients available.
