South Texas | This coastal bend area grows a lot of milo, but does it a little differently than a lot of other areas i guess. Most around here plant 60-75,000, trying to get a crop in and out quickly. We don't want a tiller, a sucker, or any other kind of head that would mature later. Will never see a freeze to kill it, and tropical storms (we could only hope) like to show up in the summertime. Oh yea, shooting for 5,000 lbs yield on the good years.
