I grew some blacks a few years ago. Direct cut with 635f with air reel. I waited too long and split too many but did a fair job. Certainly no substitute for doing it right (pulling/windrowing) but im not going back to that. Way too many bad memories of getting up at 3 in the morning, pulling til 8 then watching them blow away, get rained on etc. I like bean and we can grow them here but they sure will give you ulcers.
