I just came across this post today. I know it's been posted for a while now. But no I do not believe God helps people financially. I believe that everyone is given opportunities and it is up to use to find and use those to the best of our abilities. What one man views as a curse may be what another views as an opportunity. It is also very possible that wealth is more of a curse than a blessing. Look at some of the large farms and businesses around your area. At least this is the case in my area. The big ones can never get enough and are never happy. They are happy to harvest their neighbors wheat "just to be a good neighbor". Or the first ones that "offer help to a friend in need." Then they are also the first ones on the doorstep asking to rent the land. Then look at some of the smaller farmers who had to work hard for everything they have. They are happy to help out a neighbor anytime and never ask for anything in return. I know there will be some backlash to this but it's a sad fact at least in my area that once money came into farming, it was the biggest curse we could have.
