| Well yes and no Ben. All the tall grass is carry over residual from the previous growing season. It is winter grazing country, Tall Wheat, Crested Wheat grass, Cheat grass, Squirrel Tail Bottle grass ( I'm thinking that right) etc.. At that time of the year cattle prefer the Cheat grass. Federal grazing ground, with some of our private ground with it. Less than a 30% utilization over a 25 year period, and environmentalists scream about cattle hurting ranges. This is a big fire hazard if not grazed. Also need to add less than 12 " of precipitation a year here.
