Why are there people starving to death in some third world countries?
Hardship can usually be attributed to either natural causes, like natural disasters, lack of resources, accidents, disease, aging. i.e. God is not going to stop hurricane Sandy from hitting the coast just because we decided to build our homes there. Or hardship can be attributed to the sinful behavior of ourselves or those around us. People starving in other parts of the world can usually be attributed to poor and dishonest leadership in their lands. Often the resources are there, but they are all taken by the leadership. Think of Iraq.
Fortunately in our country in the past we have had relative freedom to keep what we have been blessed with. Now if it will continue to the same extent I believe is in danger. But that is for another forum. |
