Subject: Re: How do I politely tell a friend to not borrow my stuff............

I rented a small patch from a guy who decided he wanted to grow hay on it with someone else on shares. . I had paid the cash rent for the yr & had put 2 T of lime on & he said he would pay me back. Never have seen a check yet. Two yrs later he stopped by & wanted to borrow my backhoe. I politely told him to "f-off". Next winter he calls & needs his drive cleaned out. Again I politely told him to "f-off".

Probably not the best thing to do if the guy is your friend but it worked for me as he hasn't called since. .
