Jim, very sorry to hear your report.
What struck me, is the time of the accident.
I always remember, that at planting time and harvest time , the sun is almost rising or setting, in the middle of east/west roads.
Your timing of the accident/6:30 am, has me wondering if this occurred on an east west road?
I know there are times where I have my hand infront of my eyes because of the sun, and cannot see .
With dirty windows this can be very hard to see.
however, speeding under these conditions , maybe the sun was not a factor
