Prayers are sent. I commonly ride my bike several miles a day to work also. These early morning commutes scare the heck out of me too. I ride with two heads lights that blink and a blinking orange light on the tail of my bike. I also wear a reflective vest and I have my bike wrapped in reflective tape. A person cannot be too careful.
