| Is that soil washing down from regular rains or from flooding...............Living next to a river my whole life, I'd say that is more of a flooding issue but could be wrong............We had a drainage ditch blow out here, and trust me, the soil piled at the end of the run where the water finally slowed enough to deposit it. Point I think we are trying to make here, you would have to see that much ground being taken, and it wouldn't just vanish into a river, I would think their would be a tell tale sign. From the flooding last year, I can't believe the Mississippi can still be a river the way the it took all the soil off some of those fields in pictures I seen. | |
