It is quite physical and visual where I live, Jake. You step a foot or so down from the old fence row burm into the field about everywhere there was that kind of erosion.
It comes off in sheets, then rills, then slight gullies, then full blown gullies you can't cross here anymore. I see it from the east coast through southern Iowa where I travel each year.
Why didnt I go away from notill sooner?
