Central Missouri | For notillers, the question in my mind is what needs to be done in coc to meet the yields achieved through tillage if its possible? I have been continuous corn in my creek bottom for 5 years now. Its the only piece we til. I planted cover crops so I have to decide, am I goin to beans or notil coc. Much riskier in my mind no til coc especially because of concern of Goss's.
But why does coc yield less in no-til than it does under black tillage? Can those reasons be mitigated? | |
