Saronville NE | You always hear that from NRCS also, but you know how much dirt that is 10 ton to the acre?, tht is alot of dirt, we wouldnt have any topsoil left in a couple years, I dont belelve that. Ive got the same ditches in the same spots as I did when I notilled, and they arent any deeper now, then they were then. Tillage has changed alot from the old days, the old days you would disk at least twice, then FC at least twice have things worked up like a garden when done, now just 2 passes, 1 in the fall with a disk and 1 in the spring with a finisher, there is lots of trash left, I can still see trash from last year on the ground right now when combining. | |
