Southeast WI | Again, you've hit it on the head. No-till does very well here on our sandy loam ground and the crops really benefit from the increased soil health on these marginal soils. Move over to cont corn on heavier ground with poorer drainage and it would be suicide to no-till this ground. Fit cropping practices to the situation. Dont force a square peg in a round hole. I would love to no-till everything but it doesnt always work. | |
