Advanced biofuels are on pace to achieve 2.15 billion RINS this year. This pdf illustrates some projects now coming on line. This second link show the constructin of an anaerobic digesters at an existing Western Kansas E-plant. Cattle manure and other waste products will be converted to methane which will then be used to run the E-plant. The plant also uses grain sorghum as a feedstock. I don't have cost fiqures at the top of my head but they can be found for most of these projects with a little Google searching. |
