In some cases it was my fault.

FSA said field was 10 acres and I said it was 8.3

or

Don't report a loss. Then go through paperwork in Jan and look at yield maps and find out you had one. Then report it, then get told your 3 days too late.

or

Plant an irrigated field that has dry corners right on through, now your irrigated field has a yield of 150 that goes onto your APH when it really went close to 200 but the dryland was sub guarantee so no loss payment on the dryland AND as a bonus you lose big time on your APH.

and my favorite

Their wheat yield estimates are a joke. It would take a miracle to grow 60 bushel dryland wheat "here" on most years yet with less than half a stand in April their chart says I'll have 60 bushel so I can take it to yield and get about 20 bushel an acre which also happens to be close to the guarantee with a 75% and a county average of about 34-35bu.
